I have a problem. I feel like everything is becoming increasingly reaper/zombie/gore (no Al) centric. Everywhere I look. Whether its zines at local skateboard shops, blogs that obsessively collect old horror comic books, or bloody Ol Dirty Bastard masks piling up in my apartment. I see zombies and sickles. aint no way to block em out. i cant tell if it's just me or something bigger is happening. Take this Pimp C mixtape cover.

Whatever happened to dead rappers being memorialized with a bucolic portrait on the outside wall of a bodega? The ingredients were pretty simple and called for staples like clouds, sun rays, daisies and sparrows and shit. Isnt this kindve disrespectful. Don't grim reapers come from hell? Pimp C's supposed to be in heaven up there with real Gs not ushering poor unfortunate souls to the underworld where they will join him in eternal rest (or torment). Though I suppose if you're gonna go reapin fools you might as well do it trill or not do it at all.

Kinda wanna get this ill special edition mixtape by DDUB productions. Much more respectful!
